ELIGIBILITY

1 .Entry  is open to anyone over the age of 18 .Entry is not allowed to competitors under the age of 18 even if it is accompanied with parental or guardian permission.

2 . Entry  is open to national and international competitors.

3. The competition  concerns  female as well as male pole dancers.

4. G-strings, pasties  and any form of nudism are strictly forbidden. No compliance with the rules will lead to exclusion.

5 .Dry hands, i-tac, liquid chalks are allowed.

6. High heels must be worn during the whole choreography and not only partly.

7.For the exotic pole dance category it is necessary to use both poles (1 spinning and 1 static).

8. For the Doubles Category it is necessary to use both poles static and spinning.

ENTRY DATES

The video entries must be sent from  12/06/2017 to 23/08/2017

The finalists’ results will be announced on 30/08/2017

The submission of the themes as well as of the songs will have to be completed by 10/09/2017.

 

VIDEO ENTRY GUIDELINES

1. Videos are required to last 2-3 minutes. Videos which exceed this time limitation will be automatically rejected.

2.The submitted videos will be judged on the basis of presentation ,competence in pole dancing(pole skills ,flow, fluidity,sensuality, transitions)as  wel l as stage performance.

3.The videos must have been publicly uploaded on VIMEO or YOU TUBE.

4.The title of the video on You Tube must mention that it is bound for the competition “Exotic Pole Fest Submission” Also it must mention the name of the competitor and the title of the division  which he/she wishes to compete in. For example ,Marina Kosofidou -Exotic Pole Fest  VS (video submission)-Professional-Exotic Pole.

5.In case you wish to participate in the division “chair dance”, it is compulsory to include the use of a chair in the video during its whole duration. The use of a pole is allowed  for only 15 seconds.

6.No technical process of the videos is allowed. The videos must have been filmed in one shot (e.g no fitting together of two different clips is allowed.)

7.The video entries must have been filmed in an adequately lit background. Videos with obscure background will puzzle the committee, thus leading to the exclusion of the video.

8.Participation in more than one divisions is allowed on condition that a separate video including each one of  the requested divisions is strictly asked to be submitted.

9.The video entry must solely be presenting the competitor performing a choreography .A choreography of a group is not allowed if it is not clear enough who the actual applicant is.

The Human props are allowed as long as they are used as human props.

10.Wearing high heels is compulsory in all divisions , both in the video entry and during the competition. The use of g-strings  ,pasties  etc is strictly forbidden as well as any form of nudism or inappropriate form of exposure of certain parts of the body. Stripping is allowed as long as these parts of the body are covered. Any infringement of this rule will automatically lead to exclusion and the committee has the right to stop the choreography on the spot.

11.In the floor dance division , the choreography must be performed safely on the floor and the use of  the pole is forbidden.

PROPS, COSTUMES, etc

 

Competitors are allowed to make use of props such as stage scenery, costumes, extra dancers, lighting ,sound effects on condition that:

A, Room permitted

B The equipment is possible to be transported by plane.

C The equipment is possible to be set and removed from the stage in 1,50 min.

Any use of the above mentioned equipment must be specifically written in the application form.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

COMPETITORS AND CHOREOGRAPHIES

 

1.Competitors are requested to arrive at the venue of the competition on the day of the rehearsal at the time which has been issued.

2.Competitors  must ensure that they have completed  their sets of stretching and warming up exercises before their choreography.

3.Alcohol consumption or any drag abuse is forbidden before the performance.

4.Choreographies must last 3,50 –4,50 min (3':30" - 4':30").

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

1.Competitors accept the fact that the organizer and the staff ,the cameramen, employees, members, owners assume no responsibility for any injury or accident that might happen during the participation in the competition  including the arrival to the place of the competition and the departure from it.

2.Competitors accept that Pole Dancing is a demanding and dangerous sport and under these circumstances they are aware of the possible dangers related to their participation in the competition.

3.Competitors waive any legal claims for loss ,damage or injury that might emerge during their participation in the activities.

4.The organizer has the right to change or add rules any moment.

 

PHOTOS/VIDEOS

 

1.Competitors agree on being filmed or photographed during their choreography.

2.Competitors accept the fact that their photos or videos may be  publicized  by the organizers .

3.Competitors waive their claims on photos and videos and accept that this staff remains in the ownership of the organizer and is possible to be used for promotive or other purposes without  the prior consensus of the competitor.

4.Competitors are allowed to videotape their choreographies and use them in a way they find appropriate.

 

MEDICAL AID

 

A team of doctors will be present during the whole competition in order to ensure the safety of the competitors.

Competitors are obliged to sign the following document and return it to the organizer attached to an e-mail with the topic “signed rules”. In case of disagreement, the competitor will be excluded.

STAGE INFORMATION

 

Area dimensions and pole information: Stage 10m x 10m, 2 poles (static and spinning), height 5 m, diameter 42,4mm. Distance between poles 3 m. 8,50 m to the end of stage, 2,50m on front of the stage, 2,50m at right and 2,50 m at left of the stage. If facing towards the stage, the left pole is static and the right is spinning.

 

NOTICE: If a participant wish to use a projector the distances are the following: 2,50m at right and 2,50m at left of the stage,2,50m on front of the stage and 2,50m at the end of the stage.
